The NHS does not pay for some of the services we provide. These include private letters, private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, fitness to travel certificates, private prescriptions, passport signing and some vaccination services.
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

Our GP’s are not able to undertake medicals for extreme sports such as marathons, diving, Iron Man and so forth. If you require a medical for these, please contact your sports association who will be able to refer you to a specialist sports doctor.
Occupation Health assessments are not offered by the Practice, patients are advised to discuss with their employer or seek a private company who offer this service.

There is no NHS contractual obligation for GPs to provide reports for the purpose of firearms licensing and like many public services there is an unprecedented work pressure on GP practices at this current time.
