Phlebotomy clinics are run by the hospital in the Outpatients Department located between the pharmacy and the north entrance.  The clinic runs from 08:30am to 1:00pm and then 1:30pm to 4:15pm Monday to Friday.  More details >>

Tests & Results
Patients are reminded that specimens must always be provided in proper laboratory containers to avoid test invalidation and for health and safety reasons.  Please ask at reception for a container if you have not been given one by the requesting clinician. 

Patients may call in or phone the surgery after 2:00pm for their results this is to allow time for your doctor to review them. 

Please allow 2-5 days for blood and microbiology results and 14 days for X-ray.  All cervical smear results are communicated by letter.
