Patients are reminded that specimens must always be provided in proper laboratory containers to avoid test invalidation and for health and safety reasons.  Please ask at reception for a container if you have not been given one by the clinician requesting the test. 

Patients may call in or phone the surgery after 2:00pm for their results this is to allow time for your doctor to review the incoming. 

You need to allow at least 3-5 days for blood and microbiology results and 14 days for X-ray.  All cervical smear results are communicated by letter.
